Wave
Connection My choral
experience at Tupelo High School was a lot of fun. I matured as a
singer and as a person. Under the professional direction of Tammy
Carney and Teresa Rhyne, the Tupelo High School Choral Department
was top notch (and still is). Wave Connection was just one of the
wonderful groups I participated in. Wave Connection is an
audition show choir that consists of 44 awesome singers, dancers,
and instrumentalists, as well as being awesome people. Wave
Connection puts on a annual production, usually in the month of
October. We started preparing in the summer learning the music and
the choreography. Michael Weaver was our choreographer the two
years I participated. We traveled and competed in places
like Birmingham, AL, Pearl River Community College (where we
had a first place finish), Myrtle Beach, SC (where we had our
second first place finish) and New York City, NY. I
thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks to everybody that
made it happen. And a special thanks to our instrumentalists
called Structure. |

Madrigals I
first give all the praise and glory to God for giving me the
ability to sing and to be apart of such a wonderful ensemble. I
was a Madrigal singer my senior year at Tupelo High. It was the
one of the greatest experiences of my life. The group had such a
tight bond. The Madrigals are a self-conducted, audition
group that consists of 24 guys and girls. As you can see we
sing songs and wear costumes from the Elizabethan Age. We
performed for several groups, benefits, and we participated in
some choral festivals where we were judged. I would give anything
to sing with this group one more time. It was a wonderful ride,
and I miss each and every person. I will take with me a lot of
special memories, and lessons on life. |
